Choosing Courses Wisely
If you are preparing to transfer to an OUS institution, it is important to
choose your university course work wisely and to work with an advisor in selecting courses. General Education Requirements are fulfilled by taking course work in the liberal arts, usually during freshman and sophomore years. In addition, you must also complete specific requirements in a major field of study, plus electives for a baccalaureate degree.
Before selecting courses for your major field, you should directly contact the appropriate academic department at the university where you plan to transfer. Also make use of the information on articulation tools in this section such as ATLAS-uselect, the Oregon Transfer Module, articulation agreements, and course equivalency guides, to plan out what courses will apply toward your degree when you transfer.
