Transfer Students
Today, students take a variety of pathways toward their college degree.
Oregon’s public universities offer many programs and services to help make transferring seamless for the thousands of students who enter from community colleges and other four-year institutions. Oregon’s 17 community colleges and Oregon University System institutions offer many partnerships to make the transition from a 2 to a 4-year campus as seamless as possible. OUS offers programs such as degree partnership with community colleges, Oregon Transfer Days, and other tools to help your transfer go smoothly.
The OUS Viewbook: Freshman and Transfer Undergraduate Admission Information 2012-13 is an introductory brochure for prospective undergraduate students showcasing Oregon's seven public universities and branch campus. The Viewbook includes profiles of each institution, a listing of academic programs at all campuses, and application guidelines.
This website will offer basic information on the many opportunities available to you at OUS campuses and how to get started, including transfer admission policy, resources for planning to transfer, and key OUS transfer links. Always look closely at the websites for the universities that interest
you to learn more about campus-specific information, programs, admissions guidelines, and more. Also consider visiting on one of our campus preview dates listed in the Viewbook, which are usually on weekends and throughout the year.
If you are a prospective college freshman or graduate student interested in the Oregon public university, go to the Prospective Student section for guidance and resources.
Best wishes exploring your college future!
