Residency
In Oregon, as in all other states, tuition at publicly supported four-year universities is lower for resident students than for
nonresident students. The rules used in determining residency seek to ensure that only Oregon residents are assessed the resident fee. Those rules — Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 580, Division 10 - Board of Higher Education — appear in “Notice to Nonresidents of the State of Oregon.”
For more information or assistance with residency classification, contact the institutional residency officer at the institution where residency classification is sought. These contacts are listed in the Guide to Oregon Residence Classification.

- Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) - The WUE is a program through which students in participating states may enroll in designated two-year and four-year public institutions in other states at a special, reduced tuition level.
