Farbodd Ganjifard, State Board of Higher Education
Farbodd Ganjifard was
appointed to the Board of Higher Education in June 2011. Ganjifard, is a Cultural Anthropology major at Oregon State University and a student leader. He has been a member of Associated Students of OSU and served as executive director of campaign resources where he planned, implemented, and assisted with outreach, trainings, and campaigns. He currently serves as co-chair of the Oregon Students of Color Coalition where he advocates for access to equitable education by empowering students and strengthening communities of color; and he is a member of the United States Student Association Board of Directors where he represents students of Middle Eastern and South Asian descent, and aids the organization overall in their student advocacy work. Ganjifard also served as president of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at OSU in 2010. Ganjifard is a 2007 graduate of Lake Oswego High School, and currently resides in Corvallis, Oregon.
His term expires in June 2013.
