A meeting of the Central Oregon Regional Advisory Board (CORAB) will be held on Friday, May 5, 2000. A meeting of the Economic Development Joint Boards Working Group will be held on Monday, May 8, 2000. Both groups will convene in accordance with the times, locations, and schedules listed below:

The purpose of the meeting is (1) to discuss and finalize a CORAB summary of desires regarding a Central Oregon degree-granting institution, and (2) to approve this document, as requested by Chancellor Cox, for submission to the Oregon University System as it completes the Central Oregon higher education proposal to the Board of Higher Education.

The purpose of the meeting is to review proposed recommendations that will eventually be submitted to the Governor. The Working Group will also receive updates on the Higher Education Technology Transfer Fund, Oregon Technology Transfer Committee, spires of excellence, and industry clusters.
