A new Board member orientation, an Executive Committee meeting of the State Board of Higher Education, and a meeting of the Joint Boards of Education will be held on Friday, November 20, 1998. The meetings will convene on the campus of Portland State University, Portland, Oregon, in accordance with the times, locations, and schedules listed below:

- Review of joint appropriation requests with the Department of Education
(All action items will come before the full Board for ratification at the December regular meeting.)

(Governor Kitzhaber is scheduled to attend the meeting between 11-11:30)
Beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, there will be a joint meeting between the Board of Higher Education and the Oregon Economic Development Commission. The meeting will be held in Mezzanine II and III at One World Trade Center, 121 SW Salmon, Portland, Oregon. A reception will follow the meeting.
