TO: MEMBERS OF THE STATE BOARD OF HIGHER EDUCATION

A special Executive Committee meeting of the State Board of Higher Education will be held via telephone conference call on Thursday, November 5, 1998. This meeting will be held in accordance with the locations and schedule listed below:

Telephone conference sites for the public will be at the following locations:

 Eugene: Room 121, Susan Campbell Hall, University of Oregon               
 Portland: Suite 850, 1600 SW Fourth Avenue
 Salem: Room 126, Public Service Building, 255 Capitol St. NE

The purpose of the meeting is to review, discuss, and possibly authorize the Chancellor to approach the Emergency Board on November 19 to request supplemental appropriations for OIT and OSU, due to increased costs from higher than anticipated enrollment at both institutions.
