TO: MEMBERS OF THE STATE BOARD OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The Oregon State Board of Higher Education will meet in Executive Session for the purpose of interviewing finalists for the position of President of Portland State University and subsequent discussions. At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board will convene a special meeting for the purpose of selecting a candidate and authorizing the Chancellor to negotiate a contract. All meetings will be held on the campus of Portland State University, Portland, Oregon, in accordance with the locations and schedule listed below:

Thursday, June 5, 1997

4:30 p.m. (or at the conclusion of Executive Session)	Board Meeting Vanport Room (#338) Smith Memorial Center
