Budget and Finance Committee

•basic allocation methodologies
•enrollment targets
•targeted investments
•performance funding (with System Strategic Planning Committee)
•tuition and fee rates and structures
•other revenues
•planning for contingencies

•review of budget model(s)
•enrollment projections
•capital construction budget requests

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee shall consist of five members including the Board president, vice president(s) and other committee members elected by the Board to serve as members of the committee. The Executive Committee shall take final action for the Board in such matters as may be specifically referred to it by the Board, the Board president, or the Chancellor with power to act. Between Board meetings, the Executive Committee shall act for the Board in minor matters and any matter where a timely response is required prior to the next Board meeting, subject to Board approval at its first subsequent meeting.

Investment Committee

System Strategic Planning Committee

•Define "System" of higher education and differentiate system versus institutional responsibilities.

•With input from each institution, identify how the System can best assist the achievement of institutional goals and leverage their strengths.

•Develop measurable System outcomes and establish means for their measurement.

•Work with the Joint Boards of Education and others to assure the development of beneficial working relationships with community colleges, the K-12 system, and independent institutions.
•Work with the Oregon Economic Development Commission and others to link higher education to Oregon's economic development activities.
