Oregon University System Facilities

The seven Oregon University System campuses and the university centers in Bend, Coos Bay, and greater Portland comprise nearly half the major state buildings in Oregon. About 13 million gross square feet of academic space has a current replacement value (CRV) in excess of $2.3 billion.

Nearly 40% of the gross square footage of the OUS campuses was built between 1955 and 1970. Some 2.25 million gross square feet of educational space was built in the 1960s. A recent study identified over $390 million of deferred maintenance on OUS campuses.
