	October 22, 1999             Contact:     Bob Bruce, 503-725-5714 Statement on Frohnmayer Hospitalization CLACKAMAS - Following notification that President Dave Frohnmayer of the University of Oregon was hospitalized early Friday in Bethesda, Md., after a medical emergency, the Chancellor of the Oregon University System issued the following statement: "Our thoughts and prayers are with President Frohnmayer and his family. We're grateful that immediate medical attention was available. We join with all Oregonians in hoping for the best." Joseph W. Cox, chancellor, Oregon University System.
