Higher Ed Board's Executive Meets Friday
PORTLAND - The Executive Committee of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education will meet Friday, March 15 at Portland State University.
The agenda will include action on purchase of two small office buildings that will be converted to laboratory and office space at Portland State University, a University of Oregon proposal to increase use of campus teaching space and offer reduced tuition for students who register for classes in late afternoon and evening hours, and a proposal to name the new indoor practice facility at Oregon State University for a major donor.
Discussion also will include a final audit report on OSU's projected budget shortfall, the new OUS Technology Plan, adjustment of the 2002-2003 annual budget and presidential compensation.
Friday's meeting begins at 10 a.m. in the Browsing Lounge (Room 238) of PSU's Smith Memorial Center.
The meeting is open to the public.
