Industry Partnerships
The Industry Partnerships department, within the Academic Strategies division, manages several public-private partnerships that work with industry to determine their needs for educational programs that support various sectors. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Industry Partnerships serves as Executive Director of the Engineering and Technology Industry Council (ETIC). In addition, the Industry Partnerships department develops outreach programs to help ensure that Oregonians consider engineering and computer science as careers, with a special emphasis on ethnic, economic, and gender diversity. The department recruits resources from industry and government to underwrite new engineering educational and research initiatives, and administers scholarship, fellowship, and outreach programs. See Industry Partnerships Programs and Recent Projects for details.
