- Academic Strategies Information on the development of academic policies and processes; coordination of initiatives to promote student success, enhance campus teaching/learning environments, support successful faculty endeavors, foster research efforts; collaboration with K-20 and industry; and institutional data.
- Board's Office Information on State Board of Higher Education meetings, Board initiatives, Joint Boards, and official Board records.
- Budget Operations Information on biennial and annual operating and capital budgets, and tuition fee policy.
- Capital and Facilites Planning Information on capital construction, deferred maintenance, seismic upgrade, and other projects and facilities management services.
- Chancellor Information on role of the Chancellor as executive and administrative officer of the Oregon University System.
- College Access Programs Management and coordination of two federally funded programs which work in concert to increase the number of traditionally underrepresented and low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in college.
- Communications Internal and external relations for the Chancellors Office, providing informational and policy briefs, reports, news and information services, web site management, and other statewide outreach to the public and other constituent groups.
- Contracts and Purchasing Soliciting, negotiating, and managing Chancellor's Office, OUS System-wide, and cooperative contracts; and providing technical assistance regarding contracting and other matters.
- Controller Information on system wide financial policies and services; payroll and disbursements, tax and federal award compliance; cash, investment and debt management; data administration; and systems coordination.
- Finance & Administration Information on system wide financial, personnel, labor relations, and administrative management, encompassing divisions of Budget Operations, Controller, Human Resources, and Capital Construction.
- Government Relations OUS legislative relations, representation of the Board's budget, policy, and program interests before the state Legislature, and system-wide coordination with campus legislative relations.

- Industry Affairs Information on system programs, initiatives, ETIC and other partnerships involving Oregon industries.
- Institutional Research Information, data, and analysis on student demographics, degrees awarded, faculty, budget, accreditation, accountability, and performance measures established by the state for tracking at OUS universities.
- Internal Audit Information on internal audit services and projects for OUS.
- Legal Counsel Information on legal services for OUS, the State Board of Higher Education, the Chancellor's Office, and System institutions; contracts management; and risk management.
- Student Success Initiatives Policies and services that lead to the successful admission, retention, and graduation of students, including College Access Programs, collaborative strategies and programs to foster student success and pathways throughout the K-16 educational pipeline.
